Empower yourself with expert-led training programs.

As a survivor of domestic abuse myself, I know firsthand how difficult it is, having to navigate the systems, and services available, whilst going through an immensely traumatic time, it was (and still is) a difficult process.

Consultancy Tailored to Your Needs

In my most recent role I was co-director and co-founder of a local CIC (Community Interest Company) offering a wide range of support to victims and survivors of domestic abuse.

There are many reasons why someone may struggle to access help and support, but with domestic abuse, those reasons become very real barriers, not knowing where to access help, not feeling safe, believed, financial issues, oversubscribed services etc. This is why survivor led support is so powerful and an important tool in someone’s recovery.

I have learnt as a survivor myself the current systems are not always fit for purpose - this was confirmed whilst advocating for 100s of women and families going through the same struggles, pain and frustrations which continues to this day. I understand the limitations the local, regional and national government agencies have, Willows 301 plans to open options to work with existing services and providers, in addition to individual packages, maximising the support offer available.

I would like to offer support and help to those affected by domestic abuse, on a larger scale, to empower communities, and workplaces to support and understand survivors. By providing information and ideas on how best to support employees or service users if they disclose domestic abuse, or if you believe someone you work with may be affected. Having responsive  policies and procedures in place, and training of staff or members to support and understand domestic abuse and the recovery required afterwards, will go a long way to help so many individuals, but also your company or establishment.

Training can be offered and built around your particular needs and requirements.

Consultancy services are also available for policy purposes and ensuring domestic abuse support and training is an integral part of your HR packages.
